I hope to forget about this whole painful experience.
It did introduce me to different things done in the computer, but I need the pre-23 things on a stick to fully understand what I went through.
The only good thing about this was the helpful people who explained these things for me--thanks Sharon!

I am not a member of any on-line community. I wouldn't want to be part of a community that would have me as a member.

I read everything, but I don't have a computer at home to set up the slide show. As far as use for the libraries,I'm not impreddes with all the geeky pictures of librarians.

I have heard about wikis but don't use them- too much information-rather use google. Watched video and not impressed with this use of communication. I'd rather use the old-fashioned E-mail.

I suppose it's good for communicating what is going on with people's libraries and show off their pictures.

IS TOOL USED EASY TO NAVIGATE AND UNDERSTAND
No. All the sights have too much information on them and they are jumbled-up and it looks like you have to sign-up for some of them.

WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TO OTHERS
I would have no idea waht to recommend.

Describe how your library uses E-mail.
Inter library communication is done mostly by E-mail. To keep abreast of what is going on you have to keep checking the e-mail and I'm not one to do that. I also think it is impersonal and easy to misinterpret. I'd rather talk to someone -even on the phone.

Are you an active user of TEXT messaging and IM?
No. I rarely use my cell phone since I have no one to talk to. I even hardly use my phone. On one month's bill I used one minute only!
My Dad does TEXTing and he gets a big kick out of it. He TEXTs his grandsons out of town and they respond almost instantly.
